What is a thought?

Examine your thoughts without attaching to them.

Observe your thoughts without identifying with them.

Upon looking, you’ll find that all your thoughts are nothing more than an energy moving within your awareness.

They come from nowhere and go nowhere.

They arise from nothing and disappear into nothing.

If not fed, they are full of no substance.

If not held, there becomes nothing to hold on to.

If not feared or loved, they go away on their own.

What is a thought?

Although a thought appears as an energy, when it is dispassionately observed, you find nothing.

A thought is formless.

A thought is empty.

A thought does not truly exist.
