What you truly desire you will reach out for in the same moment you realized that you had that desire.

And you will keep reaching for it until you have it.

There is no peace with your pure desires until you can hold them in your hands.

What you don’t truly desire, you will always push off until tomorrow to reach for it.

And when tomorrow comes, you will push it off again and again and again.

It doesn’t really matter much to you if you obtain these impure desires.

The truth is, you always get what you want.

You’re just not honest with yourself on what that is.

If you say you desire something but aren’t reaching for it at this very moment, do you really want it?

Do you not reach for it because it requires stepping into the great unknown?

Do you not reach for it because it requires you to give tremendous effort?

Do you not reach for it because it requires you to sacrifice your pleasures?

Then maybe you don’t really want it.

Maybe what you really want is predictability.

Maybe what you really want is convenience.

Maybe what you really want is comfort.

And there is nothing wrong with wanting any of those things.

Just understand that you will forever live in conflict and therefore misery if you can’t at least be honest with yourself.

We are not what we say we will do.

We are what we do.
